Aquaman movie location - Point Lookout
Report in August 2017 from journalist Cheryl Goodenough, Redland City Bulletin:
"HOLLYWOOD stars Jason Momoa and Amber Heard have received a Quandamooka welcome at Point Lookout. 
"The actors were on North Stradbroke Island for a day of filming for the Warner Bros Feature Productions superhero blockbuster movie Aquaman.
"The movie director is James Wan, who directed Fast & Furious 7.
"The Redland City Bulletin understands about 250 crew members stayed on the island on Sunday night for an early morning call.
"They began the shoot Monday morning with a welcoming ceremony from Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginals.
"It is understood mayor Karen Williams visited the set on Monday.
"A notice to businesses and residents on North Stradbroke Island from the production company states the crew were excited to be heading to the island and looked forward to featuring it on the big screen.
"The letter states a vehicle track would be set up into South Gorge at Point Lookout ahead of the filming.
"The track was to be built by Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation.
"A QYAC representative said the organisation was unable to comment due to a confidentiality agreement.
"QYAC posted on social media earlier this month that staff had been involved in preparations for the shoot."
