Brisbane City Hall

Built between 1920 and 1930, the heritage-listed City Hall is seen as the heart of Brisbane and has been the backdrop to many cultural, social and civic events. To conserve and restore this iconic building for future generations,

City Hall closed in January 2010 for repair works, restoration and upgrades. City Hall will officially re-open in early 2013 with 12 function rooms and a number of important building improvements including greater accessibility and disability services and sustainability initiatives to help City Hall achieve a Green Star Rating (public building).

VENUE

Built in the 1920s and conveniently located next to King George Square, Brisbane City Hall is an impressive function venue in the heart of Brisbane\'s Central Business District. With its sweeping marble staircases, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and mosaic-tiled floor, this unique heritage listed building venue will be an ideal setting for events, weddings or conferences when it reopens in early 2013. The function rooms will be capable of hosting events for 20 to 1,500 guests.
