Hope Centre Brisbane City Church

City Church is one of Brisbane\'s best-known Christian communities.

The roots of City Church stretch back more than 80 years when it was known as Glad Tidings Tabernacle, based in Fortitude Valley, Brissbane.

In 2007, the church made the move to brand new premises at 35 Thompson St, Bowen Hills.

Pastors Wayne and Lyn Alcorn have been pastoring and leading the church since August 2000. With the addition of City Church\'s Logan campus in July 2008, it has been a progressive and positive journey for the church which has grown from fewer than 200 to what its Pastors describe as \a strong large soul-winning church of over 4,000\".
