Sci -Fi Sculptures

The sculptures which are reminiscent of the TV series Dr Who were originally at Expo 88 in Brisbane and have been placed in King Edward Park precinct.

King Edward Park, which lies to the northwest of Brisbane's Central Railway Station, is a well -known place for relaxation with a view to the CBD from the top of Jacobs Ladder, the stairs from Turbot Street to Wickham Terrace. 

It is a relaxing subtropical inspired garden with lawn, shade trees, small gardens and sculptures.  It was recreated as a designated sculpture park by Brisbane City Council in 1990.

A history of King Edward Park.

Since its construction in the 1940s as an air raid shelter during WWII, King Edward Park has received numerous facelifts and restorations, and the site is still constantly changing.
