Welcome to Nobbys Beach on October 26 and 27, 2024

Mostly cloudy conditions at Nobbys this weekend, but still reasonable swimming and body surfing, in spite of the wind getting  up  south to south-easterly, 15-25 kmh.

On Sunday there is about a 70 percent chance of a shower or two across the Gold Coast.  Sunday will also see winds south to southeasterly 20-30 kmh at Nobbys, but a dip or a bodysurf might still be an option -- but please stay between the flags. 

For surfers it's a comfortable 1ft-2ft wave throughout the weekend, occasionally bringing shoulder-height faces.

Water is warming up (slowly!) after an unseasonably cold snap last weekend. Please swim between the flags or, if you are board riding, surf outside the flagged swimming area.

If you experience difficulty in the water, raise your arm out of the water and wave it from side to side so our Surf Lifesavers can see you. 

Breeze will pick up during the day and so you can expect choppier conditions by
