Not sure what divisional barrel racing is? Here's a short explanation: Divisional barrel racing gives ALL competitors - from beginners to professionals, from youth to seniors - a chance to compete, learn and succeed in barrel racing.

The Divisional format encourages riders to improve their skills and work toward the higher Divisions, while still having a chance to be competitive.

Barrel racing can be set up in many different formats, but usually it is in a 5D format. Meaning, first division is the fastest time, second division is the fastest time plus .5 second, third division is the fastest 1 second, fourth division is the fastest time plus 1.5 seconds and fifth division is the fastest time plus four seconds.
